Tuesday, October 20 – The British Virgin Islands Health Services Authority (BVIHSA) releases fourth issue of its quarterly publication The Pulse.
Among other pertinent information, the fourth issue of The Pulse focuses on the success of the Strategic Planning Retreat and Counterfeit Medicines, coupled with information about the importance of Surgical Hand scrubs and features highlights from Christmas 2009.
Public Relations Manager, Mrs. Tamara Archibald-Gill said, “Compiling the Pulse is a labour of love…when I think of the feedback I receive from the community, it makes me work harder to produce a magazine we can all be proud of.” Mrs. Gill further stated that The Pulse has been created to keep its readers informed and abreast of all aspects of the BVI Health Services Authority; from policies and procedures to employees, events, and activities.
Interested persons can pick up a copy of The Pulse at the Security Desk in the Government's Central Administration Complex or at the BVI Health Services Authority at Creque Building, Peebles Hospital or any clinic throughout the Territory.
The BVI Health Services Authority was established under the BVI Health Services Authority Act, 2004. Its functions include the recruitment, appointment, training, and promotion of employees.
